Established in 1994 in France, Airstar specialises in the design, manufacture and distribution of inflatable structures and lighting balloons. An innovation source at the crossroads of lighting, design and technology, Airstar offers a range of products used by event and staging companies, rescue specialists, construction/safety workers in outdoor and underground environments, for architectural design as well as the film and television industry. Airstar is active in 40 countries through 12 subsidiaries and a network of independent distributors. Airstar invented the lighting balloon in 1994.
2014 was an important milestone for Airstar who celebrated 20 years and successfully managed a €1M capital injection. Airstar was looking at reinforcing its presence in the various industry verticals in which it is involved (notably event and staging, broadcast, cinema, architectural lighting, construction, rescue & safety) and promoting the many product applications of the company.
3WM developed a media strategy based on institutional and operational media relations: On the one hand, 3WM promoted corporate news for the company (capital increase, 20 years anniversary, new product launches and exhibition in international tradeshows), while developing and distributing in parallel client case studies highlighting the advantages of the Airstar technology and solutions in different verticals. 3WM is proud to count Airstar as an ongoing client since 2014.
Only two weeks after the first capital injection press release was distributed, Airstar scored over 30 online articles, a front cover in the business supplement of a leading regional newspaper (Le Dauphiné Libéré, circulation: 250,000) and was interviewed by two magazines specialising in business and event. Since then, Airstar has been represented in over a hundred articles in France and abroad, with regular visibility in professional Lighting and AV publications.
